The Friendship Club works in partnership with St Albans to provide activities to older people. The Friendship Club is a community group which was formed in 2004. It was identified that the people who attended the Lunch Club at St Albans Community Association where we are based wanted more than a dinner. We offer activities to the elderly members of the community including bingo, extend exercise classes, trips to the sea side and local attractions and entertainment. We also offer regular themed days including Remembrance Day, Christmas Party, St Georges Day, Valentine’s Day, Halloween. We provide a variety of entertainment for these themed days.

Staff qualifications St Albans Community Association is Matrix accredited and has achieved PQASSO Level 3 in quality assurance. All staff have relevant individual qualifications for each service area.

About the organisation

Provides a wide range of educational, recreational, social welfare and leisure activities for a diverse clientele, including elderly and disabled people and young people. Also a daily luncheon club open to the community
