The Sandwell Adult Discussion Group offers an opportunity for Autistic Adults to meet within a safe and supportive environment. The group is free to attend. The groups offers topic based discussions which are led by those attending and supported by an Autism Specialist Worker. There is an opportunity for members to attend a meal out after the group discussion- This is not mandatory. Individuals must pay for the cost of their own meal. The group meets once a month on a Monday 6pm until 8.30pm- Dates change throughout the month. For information on the dates the group runs or to make a self referral to attend please contact the Aspire Team at: aspire@autismwestmidlands.org.uk Attendance criteria is as follows: Registered to a Sandwell & West Birmingham GP Age 16 and over Diagnosis or Seeking a diagnosis of Autism Able to attend with minimal support

About the organisation

We are the leading charity in the West Midlands for people on the autism spectrum. We use our expertise to enrich the lives of autistic people and those who love and care for them. Our passionate, expert staff and volunteers work across all age groups and abilities, providing direct support. Our Sandwell Family Service is funded by Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council. Families must live in the Sandwell Council area, and have children under 18 years old, diagnosed with autism or being assessed for autism (diagnosis is not needed).
