We refer carers to Sandwell Enquiry for a Carers Assessment as they maybe entitled to a Carers Direct Budget, if they meet Adult Services criteria they will receive a small amount of money that can either pay for a respite care or befriending service which will give them a break from their caring responsibilities and can pursue any interests and hobbies or just meet friends knowing that their loved one is being cared for and supported. In terms of benchmarking quality, the WBACRC service has achieved ISO 9001 Quality Mark, this is an International and national quality assurance award which demonstrates that we have robust governance and quality systems and procedures in place with our service. If carers do not meet Adult service eligibility criteria, they can always purchase our service privately as a self funder.
