Our information, advice and navigation service identifies the needs of Black and Minority Ethnic carers, and refers or signposts the carer to specialist support and track each person we refer to ensure they get the help and support they need. We also provide an information drop-in session at our centre, at external centres, faith groups and in people’s homes so that carers and other relatives receive the information, advice and support they need to support them in their caring duties. Carers can access informal advocacy, and participate. We also facilitate listening event, consultation and workshops for black, minority and ethnic carers so they can inform and shape future services that are designed and commissioned for carers.
