We provide cognitive rehabilitation and support for people affected by acquired brain injury or stroke. Our sessions are planned and delivered by specialist staff, support workers and volunteers, and are designed around the individual needs and goals of each person. Activities may support cognitive skills, confidence, independence, communication and everyday living. The content of sessions may vary to reflect the needs and interests of the people attending.

About the organisation
Headway Black Country was set up to promote understanding of all aspects of acquired brain injury and to provide information support and services for people with acquired brain injury, their families and carers. We would look to support any person who has survived a head injury and meets with Headways referral criteria. Headway Black Country offers a counselling service for brain injury and stroke survivors, their carers and close family members resident in Sandwell, Dudley, Walsall and Wolverhampton, for a defined range of problems. Age range of 18 to 64 years.
