The Wednesbury Dementia Café offers a warm, friendly, and supportive space for people living with dementia, their families, and carers. It provides a safe space to socialize, share experiences, access practical advice, and enjoy activities.

Staff qualifications Staff qualified to deliver the services of Age UK Sandwell. The charity has been awarded Charity Quality Standard and Advice Quality Standard.

About the organisation

Age UK Sandwell is a trusted independent charity operating under the well-regarded Age UK brand. Our services are designed to meet the specific needs of people aged 50+ living in the six towns of Sandwell. We offer a comprehensive range of support, including: • Information and Advice • Support for those living with dementia and their carers • Social Groups • Physical activities and exercise groups • A Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney Service. • Computer Clubs to help people become more digitally confident We also offer: • talks in the community to target key health issues • hold events and activities to raise awareness of health campaigns and local health initiatives • develop and maintain partnerships with other voluntary and statutory organisations to ensure services are developed and promoted in co-ordination. Age UK Sandwell relies on the support of dedicated volunteers to help deliver our services.
