About the organisation

We are a registered charity that runs a wide range of activities, including youth clubs, coffee mornings, film nights, ESOL courses, health and safety workshops, a digital den, health and social classes, English private tuition, children's dance classes, Bhangra classes, childrens nursery, baby music classes and many more. Our building is a former pub that has been refurbished into a community centre, with training rooms, a nursery, and offices that people can hire for their own businesses. Currently, we host two hair salons, a nail salon, a medical assessment centre, a netball office, meditation and massage therapy, as well as play therapy. We are based in Greets Green, which faces challenges typical of many urban areas, such as economic disparities that affect residents' opportunities. However, the community is enriched by its cultural diversity, with residents from various ethnic backgrounds contributing to a vibrant multicultural environment. This diversity is complemented by a strong sense of community, as local organisations and charities actively support residents through various initiatives and events.
